These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sticker Maker mobile app for iOS and Android (the "App"), provided by Mohamed Shili, trading as Carthage Labs ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App
Sticker Maker lets you browse ready-made sticker packs, create your own stickers from your photos, and export them as sticker packs to WhatsApp. Some features are free; others require a Premium subscription.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Your account
You can use the App anonymously, or sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You may delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account in the App.
Your content
- You own the stickers you create from your own photos. We don't claim ownership of them.
- You are responsible for the content you create. You must have the rights to any photo or material you use, and you must not use the App to create or share content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit (especially involving minors), or that violates anyone's rights.
- Limited license to us. When you save content to cloud backup, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you (such as syncing and restoring it). This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
Ready-made packs and intellectual property
The App, the curated sticker packs, designs, logos, and other materials we provide are owned by Mohamed Shili or his licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the curated stickers for your own personal, non-commercial messaging. You may not resell, redistribute, or pass off our curated content as your own.
Subscriptions and payments
- Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly), purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Payment is charged to your store account. Prices and available plans may change; any change applies to future periods.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
- If a free trial is offered, it automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
Ads
The free version of the App displays advertising. Subscribing to Premium removes ads. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.
WhatsApp and third parties
Exporting stickers to WhatsApp relies on WhatsApp's sticker feature and is subject to WhatsApp's own terms. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse-engineer or tamper with the App; use it to break the law or infringe others' rights; attempt to disrupt or overload our services; or scrape, copy, or redistribute our curated content outside the App's intended features.
Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that background removal or any feature will produce a particular result.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mohamed Shili will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that could harm others or us.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where required, mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
